SING – “ONE BODY. ONE LIFE”

Phi Chi prides itself on our history and involvement in Baylor’s All-University Sing. We carry our commitment to our Lord into Sing with us in the form of the phrase “One Body. One Life.” Our goal as an organization is to come together as one body to affect one life in the audience. Since our first act “The Mission” in 1991, Phi Chi has made Pigskin 24 times and has placed with 13 of those acts. We have been the overall winner 3 times in our history with fantastic performances in “Free at Last’ (2004), “Dust Bowl Days” (2015), and recently, Phi Chi has been enjoying its 1st place finish with Pi Beta Phi in “The Tortoise and the Hare” (2018) and hopes to improve upon and maintain the standard of greatness we have set for ourselves.

PHILANTHROPY: SHOW HOPE

After having their own eyes and hearts opened to the needs of orphans and being personally impacted by adoption, Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman founded Show Hope in 2003. A faith-based nonprofit organization based in Franklin, Tennessee, Show Hope exists to care for orphans by engaging the Church and reducing barriers to adoption.

MISSION TRIP: CAMP LIVING STONES

Every Spring Break, we send our brothers on a service trip to the side of Starr Mountain in East Tennessee to partner with Camp Living Stones, a Christian recreation and adventure camp which offers both weekly sessions for campers in the summer and hosts year-round retreat services as well. We volunteer to help prepare Camp Living Stones for whatever maintenance work they need to improve their facilities, like roofing or constructing pavilions and decks.

This experience is a consistent highlight for our brothers, who are always eager to return each year.
